Kristina Skelin
Behind Pharomatique is Kristina Skelin.
She is currently completing her specialization in Dermopharmacy and Cosmetology at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Zagreb.
Before that, she earned a degree in Agronomy with a focus on essential oils — so she knows plants not just as ingredients on a label, but as something sown, tended, and harvested at exactly the right moment.
She built her hands-on experience in her family's 30-year-old business, which cultivates medicinal aromatic plants and produces herbal extracts for the cosmetics industry.

The meaning behind the name - Pharomatique
The name Pharomatique was created through the fusion of two words that represent our origins and our inspiration.
The first is Pharos, the ancient name of the island of Hvar. An island with a long tradition of cultivating aromatic plants, dry stone walls shaped by human hands, and a landscape where nature and everyday life have been intertwined for centuries.
The second part comes from the word aromatique — a French expression for all that is aromatic, fragrant, and infused with botanical essences.
By combining thesecombining these two words, Pharomatique was born.
A name that connects an island and its plants. Heritage and science. Tradition and modern cosmetology.
How the Rosette Became Our logo?
When we were developing Pharomatique, we knew we didn't want a brand that merely looked beautiful — we wanted a brand with structure. A brand built on the concept of the skin barrier. On balance as a foundation. And that is why the lace became more than inspiration — it became a metaphor for our approach to formulation.

PEvery Pharomatique formula follows the same path: it starts in the field, with a family that has grown these plants for three decades, and ends in the lab, where Kristina brings together traditional knowledge and dermocosmetic expertise.
Nothing is rushed. Herbs are harvested at their peak, extracts are made using methods proven over generations, and every formula is tested before it ever reaches you.

Mediterranean botanicals and skin-affine components are at the heart of our formulations because we believe in products that stay in harmony with the skin and do not disrupt its rhythm.
